LOOKING FOR THE BEST BEACH IN WEST SUSSEX?
Beaches in West Sussex vary greatly from town to town. Whether it's a quiet stroll along unspoilt coastline or windsurfing and water skiing that takes your fancy you are sure to find a suitable beach in West Sussex.

Keith Richards of Rolling Stones fame owns a beach hut here, which he is reported to have paid £60,000 for. Beach hut owners refuse to be drawn into discussion about which hut he actually owns but it is said that it is situated in the row behind the small sand dune. His beach hut is close to Redlands, the home he bought in the village in 1966.
Littlehampton
Awarded Blue Flag standard, Littlehampton has sandy beaches and clean, clear water. West Beach has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. As with Bognor Regis beaches in Littlehampton have a colour coded wristband scheme in operation for children's safety. In the summer months pets are not allowed on some of Littlehampton's beaches.

The beach at Bracklesham is a mix of sand, pebbles and fossils. Children and adults alike take great pleasure in searching for the many fossils to be found on the beach here.
Climping Beach
Climping has a secluded, quiet beach location which is mainly pebbles with sand and shallow waters at low tide
Selsey
Selsey has a pebble beach which can be quite breezy. West Beach in Selsey is known as a naturist beach, however it is rarely, if ever that you are likely to come across a naturist - probably a combination of the chilly sea breeze and rounded pebbles have a hand in the lack of nudists.
